Anything under a V8 is never enough power for anything with 4 wheels.

Been using a 4.3 LTR since 96 works for me but I dont tow anything larger then a fishing boat.

Are you taking about a full size Bronco, or a Bronco 2? Full size Bronco's use a 300 CID in-line 6 that have lots of low in torque. |

for four wheeling it's more than enough power. My jeep has a little 2.5l 4 banger and it will climb like a goat. Gears are what you need to be looking at my man. Gears.

Yes. Gearing matters more than displacement.

Depends on the size of V6. I had a 2.8L in a Bronco II that was a total dog. If it is one of the newer high displacement V6's it should be fine. |

+1 same here. 93 YJ with 2.5L and 4" lift and 33's. Came stock from factory with 4.11's and it has plenty off torque. Its all in the gears. A v-8 never hurt though. |

Uh huh...how about them fuel bills? My Tacoma will get gased up about every 10 days and only costs 35 dollars using premium! I would love to have an 8, but gas is too expensive and a V6 will do alright unless your towing some heavy stuff.
