Here's the problem...while using Internet Explorer, I cannot access any HTTPS sites. Two of us in this office have the same problem, but the rest (8) do not.

All service packs are installed. SSL2.0 and SSL3.0 are checked, and running 128 encryption.

Funny it happened to the only 2 pro-gun guys....

tvone

Pretty strict download and install policy, so no non-approved software.

Version:6.0.28..1106
Cipher Strength: 128-Bit
Update Versions: SP1; Q832894; Q330994; Q837009; Q831167; Q823393; Q867801; Q330994; Q833989; Q903235

loaded Firefox and got some of it back, but it now says "SSL turned off"(I turned it on and it works)

are you using citrix software on the two computers? No.

Try this:

In IE, go to Tools-> Internet Options-> Content Tab and hit "Clear SSL State" and Apply.

Make sure your Security settings are set to default or Medium.  Close IE and re-open.

See if that helps.

Paranoia is a interesting thing.   How would preventing SSL on your browser be an anti-gun thing to do?

Wierd.
