My last question got me thinking about this...

Over the last several months, the wife and I have spent about $100 a week on gas...$400 for a month.  I drive about 25 miles one way and she drives about 17 one way.  We both have V6 engines, her BMW gets about 27 mpg and mine gets...whatever.

How much do you all spend on average over the last several months?

Wife fills ups once every 2 weeks but she has a SUV which has a 20 gal tank, so it costs me us over $80/month for her vehicle.  I drive alot for work averaging about $120/week.  Adding this all up, I am spending close to $600/month for both vehicles.  OUCH!!!!!!!!!

Once a week fillup around 40$.  I have no idea about the wife's truck,  but definitely less.  The gas bill for the boat is a bigger hit, 85 gallon gas tank.

I don't spend any money on gas.  But driving 20,000 miles a year, at the current price of $2.44, it comes out to about $90/month for my diesel habit.

I spend about $400 per month (2.5 fillups per week of premium @ $40 a pop)

My wife spends about $270 per month (3 fillups of regular per month @ $90 a pop)

Our budget has always been $500 a month for the two of us, but the prices lately have really dipped into our disposable income.

Feeding a truck, a small SUV, and my daughters Eclipse roughly $600 a month. We live a long way from anywhere and to school, work and groceries is a haul.

4-500 a month depending on if we take any weekend trips or have to go to little rock.  Jeep wrangler with a straight 6.  bout 12.5 mpg.  I'm about to get a new pick up and my wife is getting an accord.  Can't deal with this crap anymore.

600 miles to commute to work each month.
I ride my motorcycle during the summer. It gets 42 mpg. $ 32 per month.
Cold weather means I drive my Jetta Mk 3. It gets 30 mpg. $ 45 per month.

I double the above miles to include errands, going here and there. I budget $ 100 per month. I go over once in a while. I hope it takes a long time before regular gets to $ 3 per gallon.

If I keep from driving my truck to a minimum, and drive my Prius only, $20 or so.

If I drive my truck a lot, pull the boat, pull the snowmobile trailer, easily over $200
