Anyone hit $3 yet? Havent seen one of these requests in a several weeks so thought I would start one.
News is saying its the highest price ever. Here in central Ky, I paid 2.45 for lowtest yesterday. Essayons |

$2.49/gal for the low grade stuff all over town. More at other places.
I am going to Costco more and more for my gas. |

$2.25. lowes in Scottsbluff, but they haven't bumped prices yet. Everyone else went to about $2.30-$2.34 yesterday.
At the station across the street from my house in Mitchell gas is at $2.49. If you are riding to Sturgis through Western Nebraska it will cost ya. SBG |

On the news in the Los Angeles area, one station is charging $2.99/gal 87octane, but didn't say where.

2.49 for 87 at my local Citgo station the mobil down the street was 2.55 for 87 wqhere I live in CT.

$2.33 in northern virginia and that took some hunting around. man, cost me over $30 to fill my tank up and all i could think was "this is x boxes of 5.56" "this is x boxes of .45" "this is x number of mags" etc...

The gov't and states could ease it by taking of the dual tax they put on gas. That'd put gas sub 2$ nearly everywhere

I paid $2.79 for 87 octane at a Chevron station in San Diego this morning.

last year....now it's $2.14 per gallon. |

and you would be complaining when there was no money to repair the roads or any of the infrastructure improvements that get done. most all the money for this comes out of the federal aid highway trust fund which is gas tax money that goes from all the states into a big pot and then is doled back out to each state based on a percentage basis ...some get more back than they contribute. btw, how much do you think the taxes are? here they are like .35 a gallon (fed and state if I recall correctly). it was a big percentage when gas was a dollar...now its not a big percentage. We run on coconut oil from back yard wells pumping it out of the earth.

I'm giving it till $3.00 gal, then I'm selling my pickup and getting and econo car, Corolla or Civic. I can't take it anymore. At this point $60.00 a week, it's killing me and it's only going to go up from here.
