Looks like he was lucky:  The round hit the windshild, and the driver, before smacking him right in the temple.   It'll prolly buff out, but I don't guess he'll be writing any wistful and witty songs about walking in Denver anytime soon.

saw someone on another board point this out:


Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the bullet appeared to have been slowed by the van's windshield and by striking the vehicle's driver first.

"Frankly, I can't tell you how he survived," Jackson said.

  Wasn't it about 59 minutes long ?. Or did it just seem like it ?. That said, I hope everybody will be okay.  The shooter was out on bail for drug and weapons charges. Big surprise.

So did I.  It made me feel sick when I heard it.  Like Michael Bolton or something.
Just hokie-poppy crap that aesthetically impaired people might misconstrue as 'powerful and seething with emotion and meaning' when really it's vapid, empty tripe.
