Poll coming...
I am curious... how many ARs do we have... the ARFCOM community? 2 or less 3 4 5 6 Based on the number of votes times the selections selections indicated, we should be able to tally it up... Please only include fully assembled weapons. "2 or less" = at least one. Basically, I am assuming that if you have one, you will likely have two sooner or later. |

None.................tragic boating accident.........................lost at sea................
1 for me
I think 50% of the people on here owning 1 would be a pretty low ball number. some actually don't own one - others own quite a few. |
More than California.
It would be interesting to add up the numbers of board members. I think the most I have seen a single member have is 20. I need the new AR15.com one and I would like to also buy last year's Cavalry Arms edition. |
By cutting it off at "6+", you won't get anywhere near the actual count. Quite a few double-digit AR folks on this board...
I'll make a poll... after we finish this one... for those with 6+ ARs to indicate how many... I'll adjust our results accordingly. |
That'll work. Very related recent thread: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=240288 |

Complete AR's?
Finished lowers waiting uppers? Stripped lowers? The numbers could be staggering............... |
Complete ARs, ready to fire. |
I'm guessing 5,000 regular posters on the boards x approximately three each.
Remember, for every member who has seven or more, there's two members who have none. ETA: That's 15,000 for you slow guys. |
Yep... thanks. I saw that.. but I would like to get a better estimate. My interest got spurred by the tread on the New Zealand cops getting ARs.. at total of about 900. I amcurious to see how that compares to our little "community". |

UPDATE: at 50 votes there are 115 ARs. (assumes cap = 6 per vote). Poll has been posted for less than 20 minutes.
Oh com'on... where's the fun in that? |
None of course....... who needs a semi-automatic rifle? I'd never own two Armalite carbines and enough ammo to keep the zombies at bay for a decade.... never... |

+1 bushy nuff said hug.gif

I only have 1, but a.. for a poor college kid, thats a good start right?
UPDATE: at 108 posts there are 277 ARs. Poll has been up for about 120 mins.
Nevermind I lost all mine to a tragic boating accident! BigDozer66 |

I have one, the mr and I together.. unsure, it's a few though.
UPDATE: after 2 hours and 40 minutes and 140 poll hits. there are 358 ARs.

One 20" Bushmaster.
Would like to add a M4, but I've been bit by the AK bug. |
1 Bushmaster BCWA3S20
1 Bushmaster BCWA3F 14M4IZ & 1 STAG M4 (build gun) But Im really tempted to get 3 RRA lower's |
I own less AR's then the number of times I've seen this question asked
in the 9 months I've been here . So around 20 |
Just one for me, a 6920. I know it's heresy, but that's all I really want. I prefer to spread my love around. M1A bush, IBM Carbine, and a Winchester Garand keep my Colt company.

4
One Bushmaster post-ban 20" HBAR Two Bushmaster post-ban M4gery's, one has had the stock and mini-y comp removed and replaced, and the other just has the stock replaced with a 6-position One Colt 6920 |
1 and I don't plan on another one in the immediate future though there will be plenty of other firearms.

put this poll in the tech forums. No one in GD owns guns, they just come here to talk.
