My range is my dads back deck. So I dont really need a range box. I step outside, unload the mag, step inside to get a drink and reload, step outside and unload, repeat.

Targets, cleaning supplies, tools, hearing and eye protection, spare parts... Oh man there are LOTS of things you can and NEED to keep in a range box... even a small First Aid box is a GREAT idea.

I wish I could find a small bag that had PALs channels all over the outside.  Throw on some MOLLE compatible mag pouches and it would be just right for me.

Heck, DPMMN goes way overboard. I just bring a brown leather bag with some clips of ammo, glasses, and ear protectors.

Thats fine for cleaning in the field, but a good range box allows you to pack more stuff that helps you clean better and quicker.

I bought a Plano tackle box for use as a range box. It has four drawers and a large top compartment. I keep most of my cleaning supplies in it, as well as a few parts. I'll have to take a pic of it tonight.

well the only thing im serious about cleaning right now is my shotguns (using them for trap and all) so its my cleaning kit for shotguns bot not a range box i should get more serious about cleaning my AR but just too lazy.
