this scope is cool. 2nd gen. NV scope, model 6600 I think. we tried it out tonight outside the house. Seems to have decent clarity and damn it looked good on my AR. Not too bad for $300 .

A long time ago, my then gf bought me some foofy
kind of thing that I could not identify.

300 bucks sounds like a good price to me but I don't really follow prices on NV. Enjoy the scope.
