I saw the local entertainment reporter on the news only giving it 2 stars. I immediately said to myself...."since she doesn't like it much, that means it will be a great movie".

Ive heard it sucked, And being a southern redneck I have to say they could not have found a worse white girl (maybe a few better black girls) to have played her. Tons of southern girls in the movie's and they had to get one that didn't know chicken of the sea was tuna. They got to far away from the original. I'm with the former cast, just the previews are enough to show it's nothing like the show was really about.

I Laughed some and CRIED A LOT, How could they total all all those classic 70 Chargers, They totaled 70 of them for the series then 29 more for the new movie!!
Classic Muscle Cars don't grow on trees!!! I did however like the fun they made of political correctness, with the black guys surrounding the car and calling the dukes a racial name and them responding "We prefer Appalacian American!" As an Appalacian American i had to love that!!

Jessica simpson is on screen for a total of 12 minutes during the movie.
The 'best' joke in the movie is older than I am....."Why are divorces so expensive.....  ".I thought the series sucked the first time around when I was being targeted by the morons making it (We weren't ALL perpetual 10 yr olds in the late 70's depite what our consuption of pot was )I'm sure it'll be a huge financial and "creative" success |

I saw it last night at The Admiral Twin Drive-In, Tulsa.
Overall it was a good, mindless romp. Fast cars, lots of explosions, scantly-clad females, and almost no plot. It sure as hell ain't gonna win any Academy Award, but WTF?
