Me and Grizzlyarms went out shooting today. He introduced me to Tannerite, may I say my life will never be the same.

This stuff is amazing. A total supprise for what I expected. Very potent stuff!

I recomend right click and save video to your desktop.

its more of a dump site than a range, but anything goes. So I'm helping get rid of the unwanted junk.

We shot a refrig. that had one of those gatorade bottles full of tannerite. Unfortunatly it wasnt on camera but, it for lack of better terms "vaporized" the entire fridge.

i missed a lot more than that. it's just not on the video. open sights with a wind are hard to hit with. + my eyes arn't that good.

17HMR is rimfire. Good performer but I'm not sure it's got the velocity to make it a happen.

EDIT: Varmit Al's says they were getting a mean velocity of 2,594 fps at 15 feet. Should work. Then again, so should 17 Mach 4, 22 Win-Mag and 22 Hornet for that matter. Not all rimfire is .22lr

i'm not sure on the .17 rimfire if it would have enough "punch" to detonate. if you call dan tanner @ (541) 744-1406 and ask him, i'm sure they have tried all sorts of different calibers.

OK, we get it!!! some people seem to think we just destroyed Glacer National Park or something. the place we were shooting at is the back side of a butte. it is unusable track land that nobody sees except the people who go there for the purpose of shooting stuff. i for one am glad that some "inconsiderate asshole" will leave a shot up refridgerator behind. it give me something to blow up. that is what this area is for, it exist for the sole purpose of crazy redneck amusement.

the whole reason to drive 15 miles from my house was to be able to make a mess where it wouldn't matter! if i was gonna be anal about picking up every little shard of debris i may as well blow shit up in my back yard.

it's not like we just trashed your local picnic/fishing access site.

now that i have said that, all you enviro-freeks can now verbally abuse me.
