Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need some help locating a family member

Recently my grandmother passed away leaving some money to a cousin.  My dad is having trouble locating her to let her know.  He asked me to help try to locate her.  Does anyone have any experience with any of the websites that claim to be able to locate people?  Do any of them work better than others or are they all about the same?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
