Forgive me if this is a dupe, but I have seen this before.

Here is a video of a kid testing a "bullet proof vest" by letting his friend shoot him with a .22.

It looks more like a flak jacket than a bullet proof vest to me.

That is a Flak Vest but they are rated to level IIA.

Those flack vests get old...
I bet the idiot doing the shooting could have been charged with nasty crimes up to mansluaghter if the vest failed, and the kid got seriously hurt or even killed.
