I installed one in my savage model 10, and it is a 100 % improvement. It breaks cleanly and repeatedly at 2.75#. I am sure the Remington version is well worth the cost.

very easy to swap out on the 700. I did both of mine pretty quick. an improvement over the factory w/o having to make adjustments.

Is it a pain if you purcahse the timeny without the safety? Is it hard to put the factory safety on the timney trigger or even possible? |

Swapped one on Savage 110. Outstanding results. The install was very easy. Depending on how light you want the trigger pull, the adjustment SHOULD take a while in order to guarantee that it is safe.
I recently had a rifle completely rebuilt by GA Precision. All three of my best shooting buds agreed that the Timney I put on another rifle was better than the GA Precision trigger job. Not that the GAP trigger (no idea what components were used) is bad. Just that the Timney was a cleaner break. YMMV. |
