Lets see 'em your favorite old 22's

This was my first rifle

Iver Johnson.feeds 22 shorts, Longs and Long rifles

Dad let me carry a shotgun for a couple years, The rifle came later at age 9 I think..he said rifles were way too dangerous for a young boy as the range was too great..........

Every time I pull this gun out it brings back memories of my childhood, it has seen a GREAT number of squirrels and rabbits fall........Grandma could sure cook a squirrel

I like .22's, just don't have any pics of them.

The first .22 I bought was my first 10/22. Has a large frame TASCO 4x-12x scope. Bought it when Ruger was still putting walnut stocks on their standard carbines.

My newest .22 is a Remington 513T with the Redfield target front and rear sights. I love this one too.

My current favorite, I paid $75 for it  5 years ago. It's a Springfield/Stevens it fires .22LR at semi or single shot, .22L and .22 short as single shot. You push in the bolt handle to lock the bolt for single shot.

The receiver is finned opposite the ejection port, looks cool and it has a 24" barrel.

I don't think the finish is original it looks like someone had it plated.

Mine was a semi-auto from the '70s and it was junk. It would jam all the time. I promptly got rid of it and I don't even remewmber what it was.

I have one as well, it was my first gun. My father gave it to me when I was 5, almost 30 years ago.

My son is 3 now and as soon as he big enough to shoot it the rifle will be his.

BTW I have an Marlin semi that I got when I was 12, it is not working right now but I estimate it has over 100,000 rounds through it. I will fix it when I get time.

I've got a model 67 with a 27 inch barrel the extractor moves back with the bolt, you have to cock it before each shot!

I have a Marlin 39A(1948),and a Win model 90 and the Win 67 will out-shoot either one!!!!
