Tired of responding to the fifth or sixth "racial profiling" thread I have introduced a bit of a challenge for the AR15.com crowd.

First off, this is FICTIONAL.  I don't know anything about any terrorist activity or the locations of any terrorists anywhere, period.  This is a SCENARIO and is completely hypothetical.  Some or all of the terrorists pictured may already be captured or dead.  All information is from public sources.

Second, I will not discuss the nature of the contest or answer any questions about the contest except (at my option) to clarify confusion about rules or suchlike.  All answers will be provided here for all to see up until 24 hours before the deadline when no more answers will be provided.

I will discuss the contest and the sources of photos and what I think it means in detail AFTER the deadline.

The Scenario: Folks, the fictional part begins here, get it?

Ten (10) known, Islamic (Muslim) extremist terrorists with histories of targeting civilian or military targets are known to be in the New York Area.

You are supervising the screening process for passengers to the New York Subway.  You have no specific information on the identities of the terrorists but you know that they are "Islamic Extremists."  Some or all have known bomb making experience.

You have managed to delay all the trains in NYC for 30 minutes but no one has noticed anything suspicious yet, (hey, this is New York, right?)  You have narrowed the potential suspects down to these 100 persons stuck on the platforms.  From their photographs you must determine if they are terrorists and submit your apprehension orders to waiting FBI counter-terrorist agents already on the scene and mingling with the passengers.  To avoid disruption (and civil liberties problems) you can only arrest ten (10) individuals.  You do so by submitting the 8 digit code of their photographs (right click on a photo and select "properties" to see the filename) to the Operations Center via email ([email protected]).

The Prize: The prize is real, not fiction

I will award one (1) "Bronze" AR15.com membership for one year to the AR15.com poster who:

1.  Submits by the deadline ten (10) filenames of pictures on the below listed website; and,
2.  Who correctly identifies at least five (5) terrorists via those filenames; and,
3.  Who has submitted more correct answers than any other valid entry.

No prize will be awarded if no entrant correctly identifies at least five (5) terrorists.

In the event of a tie the AR15.com poster who submitted their entry first (as per the timestamp it arrives in my mailbox with) wins.

A valid entry consists of:

An email containing Ten (10) filenames (8 numbers+.jpg; example: "37829443.jpg" or just the 8 numbers "37829443") and the AR15.com screen name of the entrant.

Note: You must have the winning entry AND meet this requirement to be upgraded.  You may submit ten (10) file name numbers for your "non-terrorist Muslim" guesses.

Ten (10) guesses per entry for the "non-terrorist Muslim hunt" section.

For a total of twenty (20) guesses.

Entries must be submitted to [email protected] by the deadline.

Entries submitted here or otherwise in public will disqualify the entrant immediately.

In the event there is no winner I may, at my option, extend the deadline once or more times.

Technically, if you actually recognize a picture from somewhere, that's cheating.  I have no way to enforce this but the honor code so I hope you will disqualify yourself if you just happen to remember that shot from the news somewhere.

I think I'll give this a try...but to be fair, I think its a lot more difficult to make a call based on some pretty small and pretty shitty pics (some are not very clear at all) versus making a call with a person standing in front of you.....
