I don't listen to much country music these days, but I just heard a Trace Adkins son for the first time that was pretty darn good. It's called "Arlington". I have no idea if it's new or been out a while, but it's a pretty song I think you all would like.

No, I think that's a Toby Keith song.  The "we'll put a boot in your ass" one.

"Arlington" is a little more somber/sad song about Arlington National Cemetary and the heroes there.  It's been playing for a little while (couple months maybe? my sense of time is shot these days) here in Texas.  I like it.

I believe you are thinking of Daryl Worley's "Have You Forgotten". This one is Trace singing as if he were buried there at Arlington. He makes reference to hearing 21 gun salutes and knowing that mean's another hero has come home.

I heard it on my way to pick up lunch.

I haven't seen the video yet but I'll give it a look.

Very effective song, not overly sentimental or forced.  It got me the first time I heard it.  

My parents are both buried there, and I see new graves being dug every time I go.  Very sobering.

Yep, heard it the other day.  Pretty good.

Was on his diet last spring.
Lost 18 pounds.
Heard the company's having financial
problems; it's now in Chapter eleven
bankruptsy re-organization.
Really liked the mashed cauliflower like they
served at that Atkins friendly restaurant in the mall.

Went and bought the CD. Songs like this is the reason about the only thing I listen to anymore is country or other older music. Almost every country music singer has very patriotic songs.
