HOO fucking RAH. Today has been good. I turned 18, bought my first rifle(on my own, that is), got a shit load of cake, and bought a TEAM MEMBERSHIP!
For the record, that rifle just "happens" to be a NIB Bushmaster AR!    I am so happy! HOO-RAH! |

I bought 500rds of Federal FMJ to start out and am looking forward to signing up for CCW class despite inability to obtain a permit. Does that count? ETA my pimpin steel toes are with me always. |

Not trying to shit on your special day....but do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot - Including the computer and whatver resides on the opposite side of that wall.

Congrats, my first rifle was a 10/22 for $49.99!!! I couldn't afford an AR at the time. They were $179.99 at the time ( 1973 )

i did the same as you and for my 18th i had the funds ready for over a year and a half. if i could do it all over i would go with the the light\super light that you went with. for your next birthday, buy another rifle....but try to not take a picture of your feet

WHOA damn lots of questions.
I was going to go with SEBR, but the wait was the reason. I picked it up for $899 at Prescott Valley guns on my way home from, obviously, Prescott. It cost $1100 WITH the 500rds of Federal. The rifle was definately unloaded, finger off trigger, and who says I didnt want to shoot that page of ARFCOM? Beyond the wall was the backyard. I understand basic firearm safety. The picture of the feet was an extra blessing to the photo, just like my hands were. Any picture with me in it is instantly blessed by Pan the Goat God. I went to the baffroom before taking the pictures, to make sure the bushy was piss free. |
