Don't know the name, but I see them all the time. A BB gun should solve your problem.

Barring that, leave him alone, he'll eat bugs.

Its right by my front door so hopefully he will catch the bugs before they enter the house.

This type only comes out at night anyway.

Leave him alone.  He's got a valuable niche in the ecosystem.

Just let him grow, as long as you don't threaten him you are good to go.

I never planned on killing it. I'm a man so I'm not afraid of spiders.

Ask Dr. Fridge, he might know what it is.

Some type of Orb Weaver. They are awesome to watch while the build thier webs, takes them between 1-4 hours to get one of those things completed.

They catch, kill, and store bugs for later. So when they get one in the web the just kill it and hide it away and wait for another. So they constantly take down the bug population on a property. Not just when they are hungry.

Get a pellet gun, pump the bitch up, no pellet.

Spray paint your porch with bug splatter

Nothing like walking out of your house in your full morning glory to walk face first into a spider's web.

Fuck that shit dude, kill the bastard or ATTEMPT to relocate him.  That bastard is a good bug killer.

Kill it now! WD-40 and a cigarette lighter works wonders for eradicating these bastards.

If you wait too long, these things can grow to the size of a Volkswagen Beetle and simple bugs no longer satisfy their appetite... guess who's next on the menu?

That one looks like it could take on a stray cat, too.  Shoot it with a blank.  The muzzle blast should ruin his day.

That's a Commonous Harmlessous.

Leave him be.

Yup, it's an Orb Weaver.

They look scary to some people. They do a very good job taking care of flies.

Orb. Beneficial. Relocate him if you are worried about getting bit (harnless but a lil pinch) I relocate spiders all the time around my house. Good pest control.

Plastic mayo jars work well for relocation. Large opening and clear plastic lets you know where it is in the jar before you open the top.

He won't eat much, leave him alone.
