What is your favorite dog breed?

I like mutts. Preferably one that is half chow. Anybody that pays for a dog is nutty as a fruit cake. There are way to many unclaimed dogs out there to buy one.

Basset Hounds. They are great dogs with a great disposition who sound like a dog 3x their size when they bark.
|
|
Doberman Pinscher. Check out the USMC war dog memorial on Guam.

|
Boxers are the best. |

Reverse brindle is AWESOME! If we hadn't decided to be White Boxer people we were looking for brindle babies.... |

I personally like rottys, but the wife has an aversion to them. So I am stuck with Springers, English Cockers, and Goldens.

Mutt. ok its not a specific breed but they have character. |

any of these individually but a mix of as many as possible is even better
German Shepherd Husky (well, nevermind. husky has to be mixed w/ g.s.) Golden Retreiver |
|
American Pit Bull Terrier - best pig dogs I've ever worked with, absolutely fearless, makes a great pet too.

Correctamundo. My boy, Cain, was about 1.5 yrs in that pic and ~140 lbs. He's 2 now and ~190 lbs. Great guy. |

I thought Neo's were specifically meant for the AKC shows..... Is he a show dog? Or just a nice looking pet? |

Another Doberman fan here. We lost our 3yoa red male Dobie named "Thor" last year due to a liver disease. My wife and I have both owned Dobermans before we met.
We could not bring ourselves to get another Dobie (yet), so now we have a 7 month old female German Shepherd named "Nikki".......totally different dog than a Doberman but.....still a great dog. |

Hands down. If anyone has pics of some GSDs post them. Got to feed some pug puppies today. They're both Super CUTE and super UGLY... Ben |
