Dad and I got to wondering...

I set up a simple web server on my PC so he could download a large file.

A speed test shows we each can download at a rate of about 600KBps.

But the file transfer rate between our computers over the internet was about 30KBps.

I can upload to my ISP space much faster than that, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
But I'm limited to 10MB of space.

The file we attempted to transfer is 25GB.  (home movie)

Is there a web service that allows files that large?

Thanks,
