My problem with this splitting of GD up thing is that I used to come to one or two forums here per day... Now I need to hit 5 to see the same stuff that used to be in 1.
 By way of example, I've seen plenty of times where people knowingly ignore Arfcom's other (less read) forums to post in GD a question about a 1911 or something. If I have to click over to another forum, it's not much more to just go to 1911.com where the whole site's dedicated to that gun... |

Nope... Just on the first page of GD alone I count a pile of forums to be made. Personalized license plates Police shootings/Cop stuff Computers (maybe one for Macs and one for PCs so we don't have to read each other's stuff) Video Games Vacations SteyrAUG really needs his own forum for all his threads Marita/relationship advice Safes I'm sure I could find more. I know Goatboy's trying to make as many people happy as possible - and I thank him for it - but to splinter GD off like into so many little forums is going to make me less apt to be here daily, not more. As I said before, if you have to find another forum in this micro-cosmos of Arfcom, it's just as easy to find a whole website devoted to just that question. |
