Just curious as to who all plays either of these games or both? Maybe we could get a game set up sometime or something. Im an admin on a CSS server.

Never liked CS, but i do like BF2.

Counter Strike blows.

This is come from an ex CSS server admin. Too many cheaters, Vavle takes forever in releasing updates, and the gameplay is wack.

BF2 may have it's problem, but the gun models are ACCURATE, hit boxes don't have problems likes CSS, and the game is actually fun!

Kind of feel the same way, once BF2 came out i have played css probably 2 times for maybe an hour.

Both are inferior and have shitty damage models and a player base that is mostly 15 year olds. Get Joint Operations, the Escalation add on, and you are good to go.

I didn't take that screenshot, but I have the graphics quality turned all the way up when I play.
Also, while graphics are important, gameplay > graphics.

ravenshield was a fungame. BF2 is my game of choice right now though.

BF2 encourages more team play than CS:S. Source is alot prettier than the original CS, but it's not that much of an improvement in gameplay when compared to moving from BF1942 to BF2.

Will agree the damage models in CSS are just wickedly bad.

The damage model in BF2 needs tweaking: but the players in BF2 generally are older.

In the last month we've had about a dozen applications and the youngest was in his mid twenties.

CSS on the other hand has nothing but 12 year olds screaming deragotory terms through their mics.
