I agree, it needs more garbage (old newspapers, magazines, bottles, parts of buildings, etc) laying in the streets.

Remember its still only a internal Alpha version right now. They are actully looking for some more modelers/texturers to make more stuff ,trash,rubble cludder.

The admins are great (I might be a bit biased cuz I am one) and we have VAC2 also, its a really good server when people are on, but lately everone has been playing BF2. But I played css lastnight for a bit and am going to start playing more to get people back in the server.

The admins are great (I might be a bit biased cuz I am one) and we have VAC2 also, its a really good server when people are on, but lately everone has been playing BF2. But I played css lastnight for a bit and am going to start playing more to get people back in the server.

If BF2 is anything like the Demo then I already hate it. not only did it not support widescreen resilution but the gameplay felt like an arcade game and AA on crack. The aircraft controls sucked and was about as realistic as joint ops.

New teaser bump

"This routine update is meant to inform you about the lack of upcoming routine updates. That means the next media update could come not on the 2nd of next month... but maybe sooner.

Just a wee status update, things are coming along nicely as always. We have a few more staff members who bring some wonderful talent. Maps are becoming more detailed with more custom props being pumped out by the duo of Venom and Markus. I never knew an air conditioner could look so sexy. We also have Erratic and Bluestrike on board who are both Level Designers whom have already shown progress of their maps! Some old, yet still young talent, of our Coders are also making things nicer. deathz0rz's customization and inventory system allows for custom kits based on what the player is actually carrying (ammunition amounts) and what they choose (face skins, kneepads, etc.). Pongles has also been working on a system that we'll still keep under wraps for now, but many people will be happy with it. Motion Capture is happening in little over a week, so animations will definitely have a tremendous improvement.

Things are really coming together. We want to begin beta testing as soon as possible. Once the right elements are there, we will announce it.

That said, we require a dedicated server immediately. I'm talking about moments after a deal, the server is up and running INS. It is required to be a Windows based server located in North America. BF2 Kicks Ass. But, you are right about the resoution issue, that really blows.

The only game I ever really play is Medal of Honor, but that looks freaking sweet. I'm really hoping they'll have online multi player.

i am very suprised games of this nature are acceptable in our society considering they make it "fun" when our ppl are dying there in real life. but even though, i still play them

The graphics for DoD:Source are pretty good too, but they kill my framerate much more than BF2...BF2 runs quite smoothly most of the time, even on my old Radeon 9700 Pro.

I just don't see how it can be that great of a game if there's no profit involved.

CS was a fluke, it was a mod that came out to fill a void.

That voids been filling up since with production games to turn a profit for companies.

Don't get me wrong though, I wish nothing but success for these guys.

You could get away with running it really good for under $1000
