Heard on the local 6:00 news
Seems a 16yr old tried to car jack an auto belonging to a 36yr old on Fayette St in Saginaw MI. The 16yr old shot the 36 yr old in the stomach. The 36yr old wrestled the gun away from the assialant & shot him in the head. The 16yr old died a short time later at the hospital. 36yr old is recovering. Police are investigating further. |
At least the right guy died. I will be sure to keep the other guys in my prayers.
The guy got shot while getting car jacked and ended up killing a kid. Thats good? |
Yes. Too bad the driver got shot. The attempted car jacker got what he derserved. |
Yeah that's freaking good. Or would it have been better if the kid had killed the driver and taken off with the car? A guy gets shot while a crime is being committed against him, and still has the fortitude to defend himself. Don't get all "Will somebody please think of the children" on us. |
Please. Shove a weapon in my belly, try to strong arm my property, then shoot me in the stomach, you have forfeited the right to be called a kid anymore. |
+1 The kid got what was coming to him. |
The killing of the carjacker is good. |
One less scumbag in the world. Hope the driver pulls through okay.
AMEN.....God bless the driver |
Edited to reflect my view on the subject.. |
Not an OPTIMAL outcome, but not the worst one, either.
Dead carjacker. That's a GOOD thing! Driver survives. That's a GOOD thing. Driver has a serious injury. NOT such a good thing, but if he makes a full recovery, remember that chicks dig scars and it makes a really good story to tell the grandkids. CJ |

+ 1,000,000 Tall Shadow |
WTF is wrong with you? The bad guy (kid or not) died and the VICTIM is going to survive. |
+1,000,000!! abso-freakin-lutely!! Hope the driver is ok. |
The good outcome is the victim survived and the attemted murderer died. If someone points a gun at me in an attempt to rob me, assault me, I could give a rats ass if your 16 or 96, your going to pay the price my man! |
So, who gets the credit for the "draw down" in a case like this? Does the dead perp get an assist?
Nothing is wrong with me. Getting shot is not my idea of a good outcome. And killing a 16 year old is not a goodday. Taking human life is simply a neccesary evil. Not in any way a good outcome. |
So you would like to get car jacked and shot? WTF? I carry everyday but I would not like to kill someone. I WOULD in that senario but I would not consider it a good day. |
Did it happen like this?
Does a hockey or soccer goalie that accidentally knocks one in for the opposition in a scrumm get an assist? We could look at that as a precedent. |
Fred the guy stopped being a kid when he loaded a gun and went out to kill and steal a car. He lost his life. Be thankful it was not one of your loved ones he tried to kill and STFU! |
Total tool |
You're such a sadassed LLLiberal |
I would've done the exact same thing. Hope the driver has a speedy recovery. |
Why are you overanalyzing this? Living to tell the tale of defeating a scumbag criminal IS a good outcome. Not having some asshole skate through juvi court for a felony IS a good outcome. Put a band aid on that heart. It's bleeding too much. |
your right, would have been better if only the 16 year old turd was shot. one good thing, he will not be shooting anyone else now. |
A 16 year old violent criminal is in no way, shape, or form a "kid" |
God forbid I don;t think 2 people getting shot is a good outcome. |
Wouldn't it have been better if he just gave the bad guy the car. Then a kid would have been spared and the driver not shot.
Sorry I get these liberal troll feelings every now and then. Like a bad dream it passes. Rather hear, car jacker shot by driver but hey that's me. Tj |
You become a fucking man when you pick up a gun and rob someone. Tell me you think it's not the kid's fault that he robbed someone.... |
Damn right that's good. Jesus, dude - what planet are you from? |
So getting shot is a good outcome? For instance you would prefer to be shot while getting carjacked is that it? How about killing someone? Do you wait around and wish someone would rob you so you can "Draw Down" on them and kill them? |
The punks parents will probably sue the family of the driver and make millions anyway.
You should start carrying |
Thats not very Texan of you. Shok |
Nothing evil with justified homicide. Shok |
Failure to communicate.
No one said "it's a good day when you kill someone." They said "Good outcomes." The event was begun. A gun was drawn, an innocent man shot. Several outcomes are possible, one is neccessary. The one where the innocent lives, the crimes are thwarted and long expensive, taxpayer funded trial and appeal process is avoided is indeed "good outcome" for the event which was begun and indeed required some sort of outcome. I thought you had a new love now. Two timer. CW |

Yes, he did the world a favor. |
I think your missing the point...the kid being killed is a good thing...he was a scumbag criminal, and this way it saves the taxpayers lots of money. I don't think equating a scumbag perp being killed being good with wanting someone to rob you so you can draw down and kill them makes any sense.... |
