there used to be the site, "www.isthisgunstolen.com" a couple of years back that suffered from server overload and blinked out of existance? are there any others that aren't exclusive to LEOs & dealers?

I'm not even aware of one available to dealers.

Good idea, except that I would take ALOT more care with masking serial numbers in my pics.

Florida has a "Public Access" system.  It only identifies Serial Numbers though.  So, it does not necessarilly mean YOUR gun is stolen...
