That was in Yemen.

But this is my favorite quote of his:

"I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me. I command the Americans to send me their bravest soldiers to die for me. Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American ambassador appears to do my bidding. When the Americans die in my service their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the US Embassy and American airplanes carry them away, as if they never existed. Truly, America is my favorite slave."

Uh, you're welcome.

That is utter bullshit. They allow the radical Islamofascists to use Saudi Arabia for purposes of recruiting, training and fund raising in support of terrorism, and everything else so long as it doesn't threaten the Royal family's power. FWIW it's also well known that there are dozens of members of the Royal Family who openly support the Islamofascists. In short: FUCK'EM!

Crown Prince Abdullah had been in charge since the mid 90s.  I didn't realize that asshat said that shit about my country.  Fuck that piece of shit.  Now I want him revived so I can fuck him up...I think there is a lot more that the royal family can do to stop terrorism...but if they just disappeared, the place would be run by osama bin laden's admirers.

There are THOUSANDS of princes and princesses in the house of saud, of course some are going to support the terrorists.

I'm not giving them a free ride, if I could, i'd have the glass parking lot constructed around the oil fields but alas it shall not be so.

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil prices climbed above $61 a barrel on Monday after the death of Saudi Arabia's King Fahd, but expectations that the new king would keep oil policy unchanged stemmed the rise.

U.S. light, sweet crude was up 52 cents at $61.09 a barrel after hitting a near three-week high of $61.23.

The price has risen 40 percent this year and is just over a dollar below the record high of $62.10 hit on July 7.

I imagine gas wil bump up today or tomorrow again too.

Oh, right, it isn't.

Yes it is.  It exposes the truth and will give us the oppurtunity to put who WE want in charge there.

Is this before or after we have to use
the military to put down the Islamist
coup in order to restore the flow of
oil?

eta: This discussion is probably moot
anyhow as CP Abdullah has been running
the country for a while. I just worry that
with the King dead, some of the more
anti-American factions will see a power
vacuum.

It will be interesting to see if this death has any effect on the internal power struggles within the Saud family.  It may not have any real effect, or it may pull apart the family and lead to a possible civil war in Saudi Arabia.

Got a source for this?

AS for the king dying, it is both good and bad.

Bad, because it's just another reason for OPEC to jack up oil prices.
Bad, because the 'uncertainty' of the 'possible battle for power' will be another reason for OPEC to jack up oil prices.
Bad, because a possible religious/political struggle (seperate from the family infighting) will be another reason for OPEC to jack up oil prices. (starting to notice a trend here???)

Good, well, it all depends on your point of view.
IF the king was using America to get his way, so what? We do the same thing. We assisted Saddam in the Iran/Iraq war (as did the Sauds), because it was politically expedient to do so. We disliked Khomeini more than Saddam.
We supported the mujhedeen, because they were fighting the Russians.

In all reality, King Fahd actually tried to avoid the Oil Embargo by OPEC in the '70's, because he was dependant on the US for military assistance in the form of weapons, and support for them.
Hell, they are still paying out the nose for American's to work for them on various weapon systems.

If you can show any proof that Fahd wes in charge of funneling money to OBL, or to Palestine, put it up.
I am sure that various other members of the royal family have given money to them, but if you want to holler about Fahd doing it, give up some proof.

No loss to me. The guy's been a vegetable for a decade. I won't dance on or dismember the dead though. That's what scum from a third-world degenerate, homophilic pedophile-enabiling religion backwater would do.

Until everyone understands that Saudi Arabia is not our friend, the war on terror will not be won on the streets of Baghdad, Kabul or Jakarta.

How many fingers am I holding up Winston? Really? I don't believe you.
