This happened a while back in my unit. This is only one of the trucks,
the worse of the two. After they were hit, another
trucked pulled up to them to help recover and 5 minutes
after the first blast they were hit again by the secondary IED.
TOTAL: 5 Purple hearts, all returned to duty eventually thanks
to the ADD-On kits for the already armored trucks.

The first PIC looks like it was Photoshopped to add the female soldier in. The real interesting PICs would have been the damage to the inside of the doors. We see plenty of outside PICs but not many of the interior or inside of the doors.

Awesome pics. Thank God for that up-armor. Hate to have seen what those ball-bearings would have done to a standard Humvee.

If they did it was done by someone wih extreme attention to detail. Notice the diffuse shadows cast by the 50 caliber rounds being lite up with flash. The hard shadows cast by her face and hand match the shadows on the troop on the left.

Negative on the photoshop call.

Thank god the soldiers made it out with minor wounds. For the love of god I hope we exterminate every last one of those savages.

You wont see those, as it would show any weak points that could be exploited. The insurgents have internet too, you know.

Forgot to add...those pictures cannot possibly be real, because it is well known that GWB hides all of the uparmored HMMWVs and body armor for Halliburton or something....

Darts would be too hard to make and would be VERY difficult to get to fly all in the sam way...its not like there is a barrel to stabalize them...Ballbearings cause a great deal of damage because a sphere is aerodynamic any way its thrown, 90% of the "darts" would be flying backwards and sideways and wouldn't do more than scratch the paint...

The real menace as far as IEDs go are either
1) very well hidden (so well hidden that they can get closer to the road) a lot of IEDs are detonated 10 feet away and in a ditch...if there is enough explosive this can be devastating but if the insurgents manage to hide them UNDER the road....FUBAR
2) much bigger explosives. when a 155mm shell explodes a few feet away from the road, prayers may save some lives, if they pack 4 or so a few feet fromthe road...a bradley would have a tough time dealing with the explosion (BTW, they often do throw 4 or 5 155mm arty shells in the trunk of their shitty little cars for suicide bombs meant for small groups of people or for convoy ramming....fun fun

the solution is to KILL EM ALL but i don't condone that due to CoC.

glad you guys made it out of it ok,..when i was over there with cav. i caugt a ied and a few months later a rpg,....both time we got out ok because of that armor,...

know you MP's are on the road lot,. be careful,.but give them hell!

The married female soldier makes me wonder what type of unit? Motor T? Military Police?

From the ancient ALICE gear shown in the pics I wonder if its a reserve or NG unit?

Since it says "Military Police" across the back of the "hatch"................... It makes it impossible to make any type of educated guess.
