90% of my mp3's are from stuff i ripped myself so I could burn em to cd can fit like  alot more music on 1 disk then i dont have to worry about my originals getting jacked up.

Around 30ish. Actually not exactly sure.

I think a more accurate question is how many songs do you have. A good portion of my songs arent the stanrd 128 bit canned crap so my file sizes are bigger.
Which means gig for gig, you'll have more songs then I do.
But mine sound better.

Why? Allofmp3 is direct CD rips like iTunes and all other pay services (can choose bitrate) and its cheap as hell.....

I don't have any on hard drive; still old fashioned. Its all on CD, vinyl or cassette. No "gigs" of music on my computer.

20.4GB, all of it is music I own, stored in lossless format. There are about 855 songs, a few days worth of music. I happen to be one of those rare people who thinks stealing music is wrong.
