I need a TV.

I'm probably going with a 32".

It doesn't have to be a flat-screen, as long as it has a really good picture.

Not looking for something extravagant, but I want something that will last.

So far I have found a JVC that looks good and a Sony that looks good.

Bought 2 Sanyo at Wally World. $245

I've owned a 32" Sony Trinitron flat screen for several years. Very nice picture. I think I paid just a shade ove $500 for it

I've had a Sanyo 32" for a couple years. Great picture and sound. It's hooked up to an Aiwa surround sound system now.

Bought it at the dreaded Best Buy.

My parents and I both have Toshiba CRTs. No problems with any of them.

Mine is a Toshiba 32A50 (32" CRT, no longer made) but it's been going strong for the last 4-5 years. Here's one at Best Buy which will set you back around $350. Back when I got mine, it was on sale for $600.

I think Wally world has a Sanyo HDTV for about $470 that is in the 32" range.
