Just curious, how did you guys find this site?

I found the "original" from a link on Model 1 website.

When I was looking for a good rifle back in 1999. I always wanted a AR since I was a kid. I just did a search on Altavista (back then it was a great search engine) and this site poped up. Used this site to research on which manufacture was rated the best, and to find out about the law restrictions on different features.

Have been stuck here since. But a I am seeking therapy, I spend way to much time reading the GD.

On a site for Z28s and Trans Ams.  Don't recall how it came up.

Super Tuesday last November.
I had called my dad in Tx about Gore possibly becoming President and decided now was the time to buy an AR-15 before it was too late. He offerd to sell me his, which of course I accepted.

So in anticapation of going to Tx for Christmas to p/u said rifle, I typed in AR-15 in the search mode and AR15.com came up.

God Bless this site...even all you heathens[BD]

I wanted info on an ar15 before purchasing one.  I typed in www.ar15.com at random, and got this site!

I was surprised, since usually guessing logical URLs causes a some type of porn site to pop up.

The best example of this was when my friend wanted to check a price at "Dick's Sporting Goods", when the rest of us walked in to the room, we were a little concerned about the website he was loading!

I decided to follow through on my 20 plus year idea of wanting to own a AR.  I was searching the web for information on different makes and up popped AR15.com.

I've hung around every since.

The dealer that I bought my first AR from said it would be a good place to learn a few things. Whew, that was an understatement. I learned more in a few days then I ever did researching in books.

I took one of my mini-14's to the range after owning it for 10 years and never shooting it.  After seeing the dismal accuracy, I decided to find out whether or not the AR15 suffered from the same problem. While browsing the web for info, I just stumbled across the site. (around 4 years ago....)

Great site indeed !

I was thinking of either assembling or buying an AR15 type rifle before they become illegal to own.  I entered "AR15" in GOOGLE, and here I am.

Friends started to talk about BS 23 about a year before the dreaded day. I researched, and later picked up my Bushy, mags and hicaps for my glock, thanks to this site. (I am forever, grateful) I posted a few under a different log in on the older site. I follow this site (actively) because I made a decision to get involved with the RKBA.

This site was mentioned in a thread on http://www.thefiringline.com/.    Surfed over, started reading, decided to get the Bushmaster out of the safe and have been corrupted ever since.

About a year and a half ago, a coworker emailed me a link to a discussion here about renting full autos in AZ. Some months later, when I finally got internet access at home, I had a legal question, remembered the site, and posted it in the legal section. Been here ever since.
