Robert is so bad ass, he shoots one of his own because of the bugging incedent. True hard core bastard.  All insurgents should live up to his standard!

I watched it last weekend, for the 10th time

BUT..

For the first time on DVD, on a 60 inch super widescreen, with 9.1 digital surround sound.

It gave me chills , just awsome.

"Okay, I just shot this helicopter with a fricking RPG and didn't do much more than ruin the paint job and piss off the pilot. Now, instead of running for cover behind this huge boulder and trying to escape, I'm going to pull up my scarf, stand my ground, and dump the mag on my rifle at another helicopter while screaming defiantly. Brilliant!"

You have to admit though, he stayed pretty warm at night.

how exactly would you make a movie about American guerilla rebels fighting Islamic sleeper cells?  The russians played the occupying force role in the original and I dont see how sleeper cells are capable of that

And they have a whole army already hidden here and living/working in a network of Chinese Buffets run by the PLA.  It turns out that one of the reasons that they imported all those cheap AKs ans SKSs and ammo and drums and shit was to equip a secret army.

One day the streets are just full of Chinese guys in black slacks and white shirts shooting everything up.

I've never really understood the whole love affair with the movie Red Dawn thing....I've always thought of the movie as "Soviets in Toyland"

Dude....If your a Soviet  paratrooper and they tell you that, they're going to drop you in the middle of Colorado and all you have to do, is wait for your relief force to push up though Texas and Oklahoma. you should consider, just putting your Markov in your mouth right now, before you even get on the plane...

Because your relief column....isn't going to show up.

Samir was the translator for the U.S. Special Forces that helped find Hussein and pull him from his hiding place on December 13, 2003.
