SWEET
that F15 dropping counter measure flares?

edit: the high res f15 can work as a background at 1280x800 if it is rotated 90 degrees and Windows is set to stretch
without rotating first it gets squished and distorted

Hey all, just wanted to say hi fron Andersen AFB, Guam, where I am currently deployed to the 36th Munitions Squadron, 36th Maintenance Group, 36th Expeditionary Air Base Wing, from the 509th Munitions Squadron, 509th Maintenance Group, 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman AFB, Missouri (home of the B2 bomber).  Just last week I saw that B-2 flying, escorted by F15s.  I saw them take that very escort picture!  And that picture of the F15 from Mountain Home ejecting that flare...here at Andersen, I work Line Delievery, and our shop builds that chaff and flare.  It's possible that I could have built the very flare he is ejecting!  If not someone from my shop certainly did!  Talk about job satsifaction!  I had the biggest smile on my face looking at those two pictures.  Makes me proud to be here doing what I do.

Awsome pictures. I'll have to save them for my twin brother.

He got selected to fly F-15E Strike Eagles earlier this year and graduated at the top of his class.

My sister's friend flys E's out of Seymour Johnson with the 335th Chiefs.
I am trying to dig up the pics of her escorting Air Force One.

Cool, Seymour Johnson is where he will be based later this year, but he still has to go through SERE school, so I don't want to say too much about him until he finishes that...

Which training squadron was he in at SJ?  I was a crew chief in the 333rd FS from 1995-2000.

He's a WSO, not a pilot. Just graduated from fighter nav training in Pensecola. Sorry, should have clarified that. He hasn't been to SJ yet, but will be heading there later this year to start training.
