Is it my imagination or are our guys looking more and more like the troopers in Aliens and Starship Troopers?

I hear you. I love seeing those pics Lumpy posts of the A4s with the 203s mounted and the ACOGs and IR illuminators and everything.

You know, I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, (not that my opinion is of any worth in these matters) but that new camo looks pretty good in action.

That camo actually looks pretty good in that AO.

ETA: Still too tight of a pattern though.

Great set of pics, Lumpy.

A master sergeant came into my shop the other day wearing the new camo fatigues. Name tags and unit patches are all velcro. Judging by your photos, the pattern lends itself well to urban operations.

That staircase doesn't look like it meets OSHA or ADA requirements. I don't see any handrail, someone coud get hurt.

I think we all hated it based on that crummy DOD pic. The guy was standing about 30 feet away from foilage and he was standing in the bright sun. Also his uniform was not baggy enough. I think they just wanted to show off the pattern and features vs its effectiveness.
