I am looking for an inexpensive semi auto shotgun to shoot some clays and was wondering if the CD shotguns are worthy of my hard earned cash. The price is pretty good on these shotguns. I know the 1911s have their problems but I haven't heard anything about their shotguns

Sorry, almost missed this. I have had to repair 3 of them right from the box. They tend to not extract. I had to open the slot in the barrel to allow sufficient grip of the extractor on the cartridge lip. They will sometimes also have difficulty cycling inexpensive ammo. I would save a bit more & get a used Rem 1100 or 11-87. You might get lucky though.

Thanks for the repplies. I really wanted to get a Beretta AL391 Urika, but didn't want to spend that much money. Looks like I WILL probably get the Beretta.

CAST JUNK OUT OF THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought one of thier 1911's...Dropped in all McCormick internals, and a Colt match bushing...
Not to mention a fitted Stainles barrel.
GREAT GUN after I sunk all that $$$ into it...
