While i have many years of firearms behind me, I am new to the Ar-15 world. I would like to know what type of scopes and optics everyone is using and if there are pleased with their selection.

For close up work I like my Trijicon Reflex II with forward carryhandle mount. Would be excellent on a flattop too.

Reticle is a 12 MOA tringle - use the point for longer distances, use the entire triangle for  close up work. Put it center mass, and BLAM!!!!!!

For blasting close range, it is EXCELLENT at target acquisition.

I use an Aimpoint Comp M XD on my flattop M4gery.  Works GREAT, even in low light, out to about 200 meters.
