A recent topic here regarding more places demanding to know ones social security number in order to obtain services brought this to my mind.
I know we've all heard the old saw about going to a cemetary and taking the name of someone that died as a small child of about your same age. I don't think that would be the most practical or logical approach.
Does anyone have any tips, ideas and/or know of any web sites that address this issue?

I can't believe with all of the tin foil hat wearers around here none of y'all have ever given this any thought.
