Chuck Heston is right. Carrying a gun [b]IS [/b]a bore. Wearing a suit and tie is also a bore. I do either, or both, when appropriate. And neither should be controlled by government fiat.

It's his right to choose not to carry if he feels like it. Don't understand what point you're trying to make, other than possibly some dumbassed slam at the NRA.

Why would the president of the NRA say something as stupid as that? Is he, too, out of touch with the rank and file membership? Sure, carrying a handgun is a bore--until the day you need it! I guess since it is boring, we should just let the toothless NRA bargain away our rights.
