Skip the McCormick mags and get yourself some Wilson Combat 8-rounders. Best 1911 mags out there in my experience.

Ill second the wilson mags, also i have tried a couple mainspring housings in kimbers an i like the smith and alexanders the best (S and A). Good lookin gun you will love it...I know, I love all of mine!

Sweet! I don't have a Kimber (want one though) but I do have a 1911. ain't it just the nicest feeling grip ever, like it just grows out of your hand. Definately better than the grip on a USP.....damn plastic guns....

Good choice,I sold one once, but recently replaced it. won't make that mistake twice! I carry mine every day, Don't leave home without it! And yes buy some willson mags.
