I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend for my best friends wedding. We will be there from Friday afternoon through Monday evening. I've never been there before so other than Gambling and people watching, is there anything that is concidered a must see / do  while in Lost Wages?

The canals inside the Venetian are such a brilliant example of Vegas excess I had to see them.

Go to the MGM Grand and see the lions.

DAMN, I just read that they got rid of the pirate battle in front of the Treasure Island Casino... bastards!

The volcanic fountain is really not as impressive in person as it is in movies.

Go see the light show on the Old Vegas Strip.  It spans several blocks and worth the effort.

Are you a "trekkie/Trekker"? If so ya GOTTA see the ST museum.

If you are a "fantasy" buff/ or into "historical" stuff, the meal/show at the Camelot is kinda interesting (a "joust"/battle).

God, I'm a nerd.

The cocktail waitresses at the Venetian, Orleans, and Rio.  (Haven't been to the Paris or MB yet.)

Check out the Wynn hotel, we stayed there a few weeks ago, it is SWEEEEEEEET! Le Reve show is unbelievable. Casino is really nice, sports book is great, adult pool w/blackjack, bar, and european style sunbathing is very nice, tower suites rooms are the shit. Tableau restaurant was well worth the $400 bill for 4. One of the best meals I ever had.

Go downtown and gamble, if you like hold-em or lower limits, go to the Shoe. Check out the light show. And the .99 shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate. Hell, stay at the Nugget one night and tear it up downtown and then head over to the strip. Nugget spa is one of my all time favorites. Get in touch with your metrosexual side!!!!!! You will be surprised how good you feel after those 32 beers the night before when you hit the spa and get a massage.

Lions at MGM

Bellagio and its fountains

Venetian is nice, so is Paris

Pool at Hard Rock and Mandalay Bay or Wynn

Little Darlings, if you are with the boys, buy your beer at gas station across the street, the boys will keep it cold for you outside in bus tub and bartender will give you a cup. Jst two rules to remember!
