Doctors vs Guns...

Just a note for your own safety.

Don't you love statistics?

Doctors:
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year
are 120,000.
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 17.14%.

Now think about this:
Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is
80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million.)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all
age groups, is 1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is
0.001875%.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000
times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS
AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

must ban doctors before this gets completely out of
hand!

with my dad being a physician and therefore knowing quite a few physicians outside of their work, I can tell you that most like guns just as much as you or I would, and IIRC, most of the large NFA collections are owned by doctors.

Of course, I totally understand the doctors that don't like guns; as after ER duty and seeing people come in with their skull/brains all over the place, you might tend to dislike what allowed these people to disfigure themselves so much. Also, doctors tend to be the type of people that don't like seeing anyone die, so some I know are totally ok with banning guns if it saves maybe 1000-10000 lives a year from suicides and homicides.
