I've applied to Blockbuster, Racetrack, Kohls, and Oldnavy thus far in my search of a job. Are there any other places I should investigate as far as a job? I'm really desperate to find one. I even applied to work as a vets assistant scrubbing cages and stuff .

I have worked 3 jobs in the past 1-1 at Mcdonalds for 2 years, 1 at a printshop at school (seasonable employment, printed textbooks for my fellow students) and 1 at a school as a kiddie cafeteria line server.

Good news ya'll. Vet just called me back a few minutes after my last post. She could use an extra hand around to walk dogs and take care of them on the weekends. I am calling her back tommorow morning and we will discuss it. Looks like I might not have to sell my cherished SKS !

Take construction.

You will learn valuable skills fast, network among tradesmen, learn a skill you can always fall back on, and be able to quit at the drop of a hat unlike any other industry.
