Not if those 2x4s are the target A-frames.  I'll take and post a few pictures of the remnants.  (See the Burro Canyon threads in the CA forum)

I like bowling pins tied to target frames.  You put them on top and then they fall when hit and while they are hanging they spin or jump when hit.

I also like some of the steel falling plates for pistol, have to use lead bullets only though.

$2 bag of Apples or Oranges. Great reactive targets. Great bio-degradeable targets.
Got tired picking up electronic debris and shredded sheet metal at range cleanups.

Potato's are fun.

Citrus.

Other fruits and vegetables.  The thing is, you don't have to clean them up.  They will either be consumed or they will decompose harmlessly.

Well, every time my associate makes me a new, custom gun, I go for a drive in the country, with a round melon.  I draw a face on it, and suspend it from a rope, go out about 100 yards, and zero it in.  You should see the effect of a mercury filled round on it.  By the way, do you know Charles de Gaulle's schedule?

Water jugs.  When they're empty and you shoot them near the ground, they'll jump pretty high.  I wonder if I piss off anybody else when a plastic jug flies into their line of site?

I've done all three, and they're all cool.  My favorite is the little portable propane cans with a lit road flare right next to it.  Nice fireball, burns quickly so it doesn't catch much on fire (if anything).

Shaving cream is also nice, because it's nicely reactive, but you don't have to clean much up (just pick up the can and let the rain deal w/ the shaving cream).

The larger size can of refried beans.  There is a local scratch-n-dent food store that sells them for under a dime each.
The difference between .30-'06 FMJ and A-Max needs to be seen to be believed.

Steel, old PCs & monitors, TVs, large appliances, small appliances, discarded fruits & vegetables, canned goods, spray paint, toilets, plastic bottles filled with water, and any other container that may hold water.

Of course 99% of this stuff I am not able to shoot anymore. I used to shoot at a place that doubled as a garbage dump so there was always lots of interesting things to shoot.
