Gun control or like I said gun confiscation isnt a new idea. Here is one little story about how gun confiscation worked for Lawrence Ks in 1863. Ever wonder why Quantrill and 300 riders could sack Lawrence Ks. and only loose one of their own. Well the Mayor of Lawrence decided it would be safer to store all privately owned firearms in a locked arsenal. Of course Quantrill had spies in Lawrence and this information was send back to Quantrill and his gang. Ounce the element of surprise had been achieved the arsenal was the first target for the raiders. It was quickly seized by Quantrills men. At this point the citizens of Lawrence was totally defenseless. They were shot down like hogs in the street. Wonder if Mayor dickhead was reelected if the dumbass lived thru the massacre.
