A friend of mine is sending her children to their father's for the summer in another state.  She would like to send a cell phone with them so that they can call home.  Is there a way she can set the phone so that it will only call numbers in the address book?  Would it be possible to set it so it will only receive calls from the address book also?

The phone would be thru Cingular.

Thanks,

Michael

On most phones if you go into the security settings you can allow numbers that are preprogrammed in the first 5 or so presets to be called or received when getting a call.
