Why do the movies insist on protraying shooters as lousy shots. Dances with wolves  comes to mind when Spidey and the other bluecoats are shooting at two socks but they keep missing. How can't hit a wolf at a distance of 50 yards?
An yet one arrow can take down a buffalo? come on!

It seems to be one extreme or the other.  Some movies, the shooters never miss (even when they're rolling around on the ground).

How about the 'sniper' that misses by about a foot everytime if he's shooting at the good guy?
