Threaded STAINLESS??? Looks like there's a muzzle brake on it, but I've never seen a stainless barrel that's threaded.

It almost looks like a stainless armalite with thier muzzle brake on it - do those come in stainless?

ETA: AFAIK there's no reason a stainless barrel wouldn't be threaded - I know I've seen stainless barrels with muzzle devices before.

The Armalite catalog off their webpage is currently down, but they definitely have rifles with stainless barrels and muzzle devices:  for an example, look at this page:

www.armalite.com/sales/lawenforcement.htm

Here's one with a similar-looking muzzle device:

Yeah, I say artsy cause she made the picture black and white, and then fuzzed it up a bunch

Well I guessed it was an Armalite, sounds like everyone here agrees, just not sure exactly which one.

Why does it have to be an Armalite?

Why not a Frankengun?

Even Model 1 sells stainless fluted barrels that are threaded. You can put whatever you want on the end.

Model 1 stainless threaded barrel

Point is, without looking at the engraving on the barrel, it's impossible to know who manufactured the barrel.

Well given that I was unable to find a match for that barrel on Armalite's website, Recoil moves into 1st place with a MODEL1 make

What is so unusual about a threaded stainless barrel? Pac Nor from WOA.

I agree - I just suggested Armalite because the brake looked like the Armalite brake - but I've also seen aftermarket brakes that look like that.
