Why?  Well, for one getting my Paypal back online is one reason.  And getting great service (so far) from the Equipment exchange was another.

But mainly it is to have a greater position from which to extoll the benefits of the old standard AR15 A2.  I, being of slightly advancing years, had the "joy" of qualification with the old A1 back in basic training.  I didn't think the little 55 grain bullets would go past 200 meters but they did.  Upon getting the A2 in my first duty station, I knew this was a real improvement, even if we only had M193 from the ASP for all qualifications.  

Now as a true PFC (Proud freaking civillian), I can shoot whatever I can afford though my CMP SR. And that means my own match grade ammo, capable of smoking clay targets at 400+ yards.
