C'mon nerds, you know who you are. I bought my tickets for the midnight showing for Revenge of the Sith. Was wondering who else is afflicted with this problem.

I'm going on Monday for the matinee, that way there wont be a crowd of Wookies and Boba Fetts in the theater.

Is that how they do it? They start the show at midnight so that it falls on May 19?
I may drive by the theater on the way home and see if they are doing it.
Maybe it would be cool to go see the flick with the wookies.

Yep, that's how they do it. I saw a midnight show of Two Towers when it came out... or was it Return of the King.    well, i saw one of 'em at the midnight show.

That sounds like fun, I will go check it out.
We usually hit the movies during the week or Sunday afternoon, less people that way.

Ah, I just picked up the local newspaper. Looks like I won't be hanging out with the wookies and stormtroopers. There are 2 theatres in town and it looks like the star wars fan club opted for the cheaper one. Ah well, I can butter my own popcorn at the newer theatre and their seats are nicer.

My neighbor got a 12:01 ticket for tonight, but couldn't make it because of business.  Now I'm going at 12:01, because it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

Oh, and he gave it to me for free.

I just got done watching it.

I was disappointed. I expected better. Bad is bad. Kinda like Han shot Gredo first thing. Darth went bad because he was trying to do something good. Too "PC" for me.

/I am a HUGE Star Wars fan too... ever since 1977.

Well that can happen when a movie gets to tied up with a political message.

The real question is,

How many of you losers are dressing up in a costume?

I passed by a huge line already started at 2100 tonight....

I just got back.

Cartoon characters voiced by decent actors have more life

than anyone in this film and the dialogue...

... worse than anime.

There's also one set (shown for about 20 seconds) that looks like it belongs

on the Telletubby TV show.

There are lots of ::cough cough insignificant  cough cough::action

packed battles and lightsaber duels to look at though.

I hope to avoid it, but my two oldest have tickets for an early show tomorrow.

I wouldn't let them go to the midnight show.

Yes, I am mean

I just got back, and here are my findings:

1. It is true that the scenes with Padme and Anakin are kinda weak, but they are all pretty short. The last scene with Padme and Anakin was an exception, I thought that scene was very good.

2. The action is non-stop and very good. Particularly cool master Yoda is, and the Emperor is no slouch either.

3. Hayden Christensen was an excellent Darth Vader, but Ewan McGreggor stole the show. He definately had the best performance.

4. The lightsaber duels are all pretty intense, and there are several of them.

5. The entire series was tied up perfectly in the end.

6. Jar Jar Binks is only in two shots and has 0 lines. The cuddliest creatures in this movie are wookies.

7. The scenes where Darth Vader gets his suit aren't anywhere near as bad as what I had been led to believe before hand. I don't think it deserved a PG-13.

Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite, but this one was pretty close.

damn, looks like i won't be standing in line anytime soon...been seeing and hearing a lotta reviews the movie is disappointing. the dialogue is horrible but the action is great...same thing i heard about "unleashed" with jet li. looks like this series goes out in a fizzle!

Cost me $4.00 to see it at the AAFES theater...  Line was a mile long to get a seat. Seemed like the whole base came out to see it. Bought the tickets in advance yesterday, the theater was packed.....

Worth the 4 bucks IMHO one of the best movies I have seen in while
