I would have to pick the chase in Ronin.

I liked the one through Paris.

Yeah it came down to Ronin and Bullitt for me.

It was tough- causing havoc in San Fran or Paris. Decisions, decisions.

I personally find the Bullitt chase a bit overrated, mostly due to the inferior sound quality of older movies.  I prefer the chase in Ronin.  A runner up to those two might be the chase in The Bourne Identity.

The Seven Ups was the first that came to my mind, but Bullit was second. Now that I've thought longer, Vanishing Point is a chase all the way through and it's awesome. I've never seen Ronin, so I can't compare anything to it.

"To Live and Die in LA" was prob my favorite one.

"Bullit" was cool to since I lived right near where that was filmed and rode my motorcycle through the same hills a lot.

I forgot about that one, and I've got it on DVD. Cannonball Run is good too. The most memorable scene is at the beginning when the Lambo comes from up behind the cop, downshifts and disappears. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeetttt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really a chase scene but a short movie called "The Run"

A few years ago they took a Nissan 350Z to Prague, Checkoslovakia..they shut down the city and had an Oscar winning director,  professional film crew and driver with 14 cameras shoot a 6 minute movie of the Z going full blast through the streets of downtown with no special effects.  It was about as intense as it gets..I've seen it a few times on TV but I haven't found the complete version on line yet

Against All Odds. Jeff Bridges in a Porsche vs James Woods in a Ferrari on Sunset Blvd in traffic. I still grip my armrests when I think about it.  Tried doing the same thing on Sunset a while back in my new Porsche; the thrill lasted for a few seconds before I came to my senses.

Definitely Ronin.  Both chases, with the Audi S8, and then with the M5 later on, were excellent.
I also like Sean Connery in The Rock, destroying San Francisco with the Hummer and Cage chasing him in the F355.
The Transporter opening was good, too, but a little overdone.
The Blues Brothers chase in the mall always makes me laugh.  "This mall has everything!"
