You told me this web site had a lot of active, experienced shooters. Where are they, ecpecially the "senior" members? Look at my thread "more fun less work" posted in maintenance. The question requires a little shooting experience. It's been there one full week---not one reply. I think your guys must collect and accesorize their toys but not use them.

I agree 100%....actually I think a large % of the people who post here are still in their teens, at least here in GD.  I'll go check out your other post

Crowboy, I do shoot a lot, that's why I have to clean sooo much. That's why I hate it. Cant have fun without some pain, but lets minimize it.

collectively, we have little or no experience...............one thing is basically true, (with 1 or 2 exceptions) the cheaper the ammo, the dirtier....(i/e russian sludge)........[smoke]

So you go to the maintenance forum and post a " I don't want to clean" message?

Gotta love the newbies.

It is nice to see some "seniors". The thread is not about cleaning---it is about the cleanest burning, least fouling, inexpensive ammo. Sorry for the ruffled feathers.

HIELO, I was a newbie--in 1948 when I cleaned my first BAR.

My apologies then Falcore, I didn't even know that AR15.COM was around then...

Falcore, if you cleaned your first BAR in 1948
you and I are old enough to know many of the
"experienced" shooters are no longer with us.

This is a pretty good day to remember them.

I suppose I should check out all of the forums. but I don't. Never even looked in Maint. I'm fairly comfortable about about the requirements that my personal weapons have.
